Domain Embarking - What it is. What it isn't.

Recently a new method of monetizing domains was released. The company is founded on the concept that a typical parking page offers no incentive for visitors to return to the parked domain. (true) Their concept is to create a network of content rich domains. They offer the ability to generate income from google adsense ads, as well as a cut of the affiliate programs that are advertised on all the domains that are embarked.

The concept seems like a winner at first, but I think most consumers will notice the cookie cutter template that is used on all domains registered with domain embarking. This has already been a similar problem with the other domain parking companies. As the market becomes more saturated with beginner investors, the standard parking pages also appear more and more.

The upside to the network is that it does look like a real website versus a page of links. And for some domains that have no type in traffic, the owner can still receive money from simply being linked on high traffic domains that are in the embarking network. Ultimately any domainer would like to create their own personal parking page full of revenue generating links. Until you gain the knowledge on how to do that for yourself, maybe a alternative to traditional parking is for you.
